Hi, I am Jessica Hills.

Hello! My name is Jessie Hills, I started my study of photography while in high school, in 2001, Using a Canon film camera (my parents camera at the time) I took classes on the art of black and white photography. From studying the famous photographers to developing our own images, I was able to really understand each part of the whole photography experience and process. Developing my own images in the darkroom was my favorite part of the photography. Seeing my hard work come to life on the page was the most rewarding feeling in the world. Since then, I have worked for two studios, before eventually branching out on my own, and have made the transition to digital photography. I have a passion for both Digital and Film photography, but I am currently only working in digital. I use a Canon EOS 5D MARK III for all my sessions and I process all my images through Photoshop CS6. I am also a member of Professional Photographers of America and have enjoyed learning new and exciting ways to shoot my clients in both studio and outdoor settings, through their training opportunities.

My husband and I are raising our family in the small town of Yelm, WA, where my family has lived since the late 1800's. We met here when we were infants because our mothers were friends and now, we are raising our family here too! We started dating in 2012 and we married in 2018! We enjoy taking our family camping, holding family and friend game nights, going on river trips with our friends and any outdoor activities that give me a chance to use my camera!
